My down speed=150KB/s average, 190KB/s tops, my neighbors'=700KB/s average, 1100=KB/s tops, still average, but at least it's MUCH better:P

After 9 hours on my connection and it was only at 30%, switch and two and a half hours on my neighbors' and it's almost at 70% already, damn I should have just done it from the beginning!

Yup, I'm normally using a login connection to one of those "OTE Wifi Fon" hotspots littered around and that has a limit of 200KB/s down yet I don't even hit that, it's sad really! Especially considering the speeds we get at my Uni are 495MB/s for BOTH up and down...

I hate those OTE wifi hotspots, especially when they are the only free ones in the area

I know what you mean, those have the limit of 200KB/s down ON TOP of not working on half the devices and being crazy expensive... I just crack the passwords of other routers instead to use when downloading stuff:P

The part that mostly bothers me is the paying part, idrc about speed limits

Well, if it costs as much as broadband for extremely low speeds, it's a problem. Just get a broadband if you are gonna pay for example and with same money you get 4G speeds! But yeah, I'm not one to pay for stuff either...
