I am a huge KH fan and I have been since the games first launched. I know it's Unionχ, but I am lazy and only macroed the "χ" and not the rest.

I'm Greek so no need to macro the letters, I already have them on my keyboard And I started with the manga of KH1 the moment it came out, then got into the games and have played every single one ever since besides 2.8-exclusive stuff (because no PS4). I'm generally a huge fan of KH, same for MH and Ys, those three are my favorite series!

I started with KH1 way back at launch and I have also played all of them, I didn't get a chance to finish 2.8 though because my ex was an asshole. MH is up there for me and I haven't played much of the Ys games despite always having them on my systems.

Wait, it's one of the things he stole or something?:/ You should try out Ys, while 1 and 2 are crap and Origin is "meh", all the other ones are amazing, especially Oath in Felghana and on (favorite one is ζ for me, aka 7). If you have a PSP, try some of them out, there are like 5 Ys on PSP alone (if you include the 2 Japan-only ones).

Kind of, he sold it before I could really get too deep into the game. I have all of them on my PSP and DS, I just need to find time to play them.

Start with either Oath in Felghana or ζ, first one is older and a bit clunkier but has voice acting, while the latter is just epic and is probably the only game I've ever played besides KHII that made backtracking fun and has some amazing boss fights! You should also try the Final Mix of KHBBS while at it if you haven't on the PSP yet...

I have BBS on my PSP, but I do need to play the Final Mix version. These are on my list for when I buy a PS4 next month. I plan on buying a PS4 for my girlfriend for her birthday and all of the Yakuza games and Persona 5 for her as well. I actually like clunky voice-acting, it reminds me of the old days of gaming.

All the Yakuza games? I heavily adivse against that, each Yakuza game takes a LONG time to complete because of how much side stuff there are, so from 6 and on you are looking at 200+ hours of play time, meaning no time to spend with you, lol! And ζ is pronounced as "zeeta", but with a short "ee". It's the seventh letter in the Greek alphabet, thus the Ys7.

To add on the play time thing, Persona 5 also takes about 70 hours give or take (unless you mess up and finish the story in the fake ending which is like 30 hours). If you get her a PS4, get her a game with multiplayer and since you mentioned Yakuza, I suggest trying out Yakuza Black Panther on the PSP (Japan only and very different but one of best in the series)

That's actually what she wants, she loves the games and she wants to play through them again and play the new one. She's a huge fan of the Persona games as well and has beaten P5 multiple times and wants to do it again.

Oh well, then go for it!:b But if she's a fan of Yakuza, you should have her try out Black Panther since it's very different yet tons of fun, have fun with the games though and you might as well try to get a multiplayer game to play co-op or something though for some bonding...

I was actually planning on buying her a PSP both because she wants to learn how to hack and because she wants all the Japanese exclusive games so she can practice her Japanese better. So I will toss that game onto the list of PSP games to grab.

What do you mean she wants to learn how to hack? You mean Lua programming? Because PSP is only good for that, although it's actually BY FAR the best platform to practice Lua programming on... And I know what you mean, PSP games are great for learning Japanese, it's how I learned most of my Japanese

All games have hiragana/katakana written above the Kanjis for example, so they are perfect for beginners, there are over 2000 Visual Novels for it that are all text-heavy and so on! Black Panther actually has a lot of text, so it'll be good for that and if you want a VN, try the La Storia Della Famiglia Arcana one since it's fun and has some interractivity (eg: QTEs) and try the Japan-only Ys games too!
