well, since i just got mine and dont know anything, i followed a tutorial. but basically it used a photocell to change the pitch of a buzzer depending on how much light the photocell detected.

When I did something like that, I just went with a base of classic Japanese torture, having a barely audible mess of a sound coming out from a buzzer while having a sudden loud CLANK every 1.5 seconds, worked wonders at giving people migraines

sounds pretty annoying, although i dont know if I can change the volume of the buzzer im using

I don't think you can on stock ones, but I added extra hardware on my arduino as I sorta need them all the time

It's easy to do, but may vary on versions. I have a mini and regular one, the mini is tricky to add stuff to, but for regular models it's really easy, just read the documentation online on how to do it if you need help.
