I noticed that you are in/from Canada, and also certain word/structure choices. I grew up near the border, Upstate NY, and spent a good deal of time in Quebec, Hartford, Montreal, etc.
(As a kid, the zoos were great. As a younger man, places like 'Chez Dianne' in Montreal, if you feel me. )
Tried it? Dude, I could live on it. Montreal smoked meats, fish, maple syrup, etc.etc...hell, give me Tim Horton's, even!
At a deli I used to work in, I'd often joke with the Canadian/Franco girls, calling myself (gonna butcher this) "Je ma pel, I am Monsieur Cornichon!" with a nod and a wink, lol.
(Supposed to be "hello, my name is Mr. Pickle!", ha.)
Haha, yea... hell yea... maple sirup is sooooo goooood
But about the mr. Cornichon, in quebec we do say pickles instead of cornichon, so no need to.translate that
Well, either way -- the girls/women often enjoyed it and played along, giggling and gesticulating. I even, errrrr, "dated" one or two!
(No further comment, 'all ages' website and all!)
