I'm getting paired with randos who dont understand the game at all: "SMASH IT AT EVERY CHANCE THATLL WORK" and I'm admittedly not the best ever, so I carry them for like 2 minutes and fall apart halfway into the match cuz I can't offense AND defend. And my friends are good for how little they've played, but there's a gap between our skill levels ;

Well it's a matter of luck to find a good partner with randoms! If you do wanna start playing, you should get your skill level up to the point where you're on par with a friend, and play with them as both of you improve (and immerse yourselves in salt)

I got to silver for all but a second in doubles, but I've been thrown back to the trash heap (where I belong, I'm in my element in the trash ;-; ) as a bronze II. Sigh

I mean is there such a training practice mode or any mode i can play by myself and not need anyone, if this is a game that only rely on playing online with friends like team fortress 2 and overwatch, i wouldn't get it. I need one player modes.

There's single player with bots I guess? And a training mode. And you can play against people online 1v1. But I deffo think the game works better with friends 2v2
