I would guess some conflict in the forum software. They upgraded to the latest Xenforo a little bit ago to fix some security issues, but they probably haven't fixed all of the bugs or conflicts with their custom stuff.

I can't remember how many posts you need anymore, but eventually you can just use a custom title altogether so you don't have to see it "flicker" back and forth. :P

I thought you could customize your title out of the box... That's what I did.

If you have access to changing your title it should be in there. Like I said, I forget how many posts it needs, if any at all.
