What version of windoze do you have? I no longer use avast since it's gotten worse and worse over the years

Then you shouldn't have any compatibility issues caused by avast iirc it was prone "bricking" Win7 when windoze updater tried to update :/

I just figured out that i could force it to run

Ech... I'm suprised that avast allows you to boot your PC, not that to run an app that it falsely recognized... *rolls eyes*
