I been recently tring to find a way to program Gameboy roms to use gameboy color or super game boy features on VC, So i guess that could come in handy.

yes. cheat engine's method is way simpler. you cant simply dump the ram and search for pointers since the readable memory is split into a lot of parts. cheat engine checks out what access the address in order to get the right pointer

nope since i'm stuck on step 6 (nothing is displayed when I try to find what accesses the address)

Then find what writes access address
Then change value again, then use the information inside the window box

i did but the box stays the same. nothing listed. it coudlnt even find what writes to this address there

Maybe you got to find the value again. I did it myself 20 minutes ago, and it worked.

You tried reloading the program? Maybe somehow the memory got messed up
never checked out the tutorial that much. i should give it a try. btw i have found a method to dump the memory of PC games. but you can only dump little parts (that have at least write-permission). but still useful
