I don't wan't to hack my wii u... I wan't to fix the update issue on my wii. I cannot connect to the wii shop because it asks me for an update I already have (4.3U). I want to know step by step what should I do to be able to connect my wii to the shop and to be able to download the transfer system thing.

Anyway...at certain periods (eg connecting your wii to the internet), it will do a check on whether you have the latest IOS'es versions. If it finds one that can be updated, it will prompt for a firmware update.
The usual trap is that there IS an official IOS249. It is a stub that has version v65280 (source: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/IOS249).

Sorry, but I can't help on it. I only give advice on first-hand knowledge, and I haven't hacked my wiiu (I already have a hacked wii that works, and don't want to void the warranty right now).
