Why is everyone self destructing lately? Sad.

Its starting to get to a point where it ain't even worth wondering how people are at this point. I'm now scared of you leaving, or SylverRez, or anyone else. Forums are sadly niche than others, and more people are not considering discord as their primary form of communication (for valid reasons). I'm stuck with Bluesky, I don't want to use my Twitter for normal reasons, and as far as here and TCF Goes.... I'm fine with engaging with anyone here but discord still is my primary form of communication personally

Honestly if I were to disappear I would log out and abandon the account silently without saying a word about it instead of pressing the delete button.

I've done that with my RGT after someone I used to know decided to get their account banned on here on purpose because they're allowed this site to hate on their behavior simply because they didn't agree with their political standpoint. I wished they never looked at that side of the forum because when I look at them without the political side of them, they would've been a wonderful user in this fourm

I don't even think they even want to come back after all of this, and they were cool with ciro too.

Oh yeah I know who, that was a weird morning post.

It's really unfortunate that they've done that but honestly, I'm glad I don't interact with RGT anyone.

I'm friends with a YouTuber that makes retro gaming analysis that also has an account there and told me that the site imploded because the same moderator that wanted to plot revenge against this site from that person from the GBATemp actually decided to go haywire on RGT deleting threads and banning multiple people simply because of sn argument that happened outside of their website.

Community collapse, love to see it.

oh yeah and the cherry on top is that they removed the ability to send discord links.

I know most people have a personal grudge against that site, but you can't escape it being one of the most popular forms communication, and outright banning it following the events just makes me think they're clowns for doing that.

From reader mode because people are going hostile towards the owner for getting banned (and not having any admins that'll skin them alive before they even have a chance to say anything messed up), to away mode since they're losing too many of their classic members, to now banning discord links because a bad mod and a user were coordinating attacks on the website. Maybe they should've been hired in the first place ever since they've agreed with taking over this site but....yeah
