FR I wish I could meat Yamihoshi/Ultimatepisman/Yami/MKGirlism but I know she got under fire for hosting DSHack.org back in 2019 because the Japanese government got mad and also that she has a family that she wants to raise so she just kind of left. She seemed so cool too it's sad.

I will definitely make sure to never say a word when I decide to permanently vanish.
Better not alarming anyone so they won't try to find me before anyone noticed.

I don't know if this is a joke or not, but I really hope that you don't actually do that cause even for people that I met but don't communicate on much occasion I would be worried about wondering where they were. Not too long ago, I remember someone popular within the 3D texturing community that literally disappeared off the fact of the Internet.

I was serious though.

It would be disappointing to lose someone like you, too. There is a few remaining gems like you that are into what you're into with retro technology, and most of what the norm does is rather take the easy route making retro styled converstions of normal or video game music in not so fitting software such as FL Studio. At least on the perspective of myself.

I mean it's not like I planned to delete my internet presence tomorrow either lol

I just don't understand why some people are prone to doing this. I know some people need breaks, but now with you saying that, it just makes me hope that everything is going well for you and whatnot. I don't want to lose awesome indivutials like you that bring good to your surroundings

@VinsCool Oh. The way it was so sudden made me think that you were about to do it after something happened to you recently. I like seeing the stuff that you post especially knowing that you worked with one of my all time favorite composers at some point.

The way I see people leaving the Internet is almost similar to a person's death: They both no longer can be intercated with, but it's a bit worse for the former since you know they are alive, out there, doing something else as someone else but you never know, because they don't tell anyone or anyone specifically.

I do apologize if it sounds like I'm worrying too much but I genuinely get this scared for when anyone is or has been thinking of leaving the Internet for good. Especially in the curent state that it is with the push towards AI and surtveiolance. It's nerve wracking, and at times Its making me wish that I wasn't on it too

But then again I personally don't know if I would ever leave: I always wished to share my creations out there whether that's my indie games or the writing that I put out, but I don't really have a coherent place to do so nowadays. Only place I got is Bluesky since I'm never touching Twitter again, and until I start programming, then my Discord server but whose gonna ever participate in the works of mine?

I already removed and/or vacated a bunch of sites that I used throughout the years since they were becoming worse, and the only reason bluesky was an exception is because I can at least disable the timeline and replies/quote posts for it to be completely about whatever I got on my mind and whatnot. I could do that with my Bear Blog, but not only that's niche but it's more focused on long text
