KDE Plasma is okay... it used to be my most favorite until GNOME came by and is the best one to suit all of my needs. Its also the most feature rich tbh in my eyes and knowledge.
I have had the opposite experience. Customising GNOME in the way I want it to work requires add-ons on top of add-ons, and it all feels very janky, while KDE Plasma is very malleable with just the pre-installed tools. But we could just have different needs.
