Comcast horrors - data caps, asymmetrical bandwidth, cable broadband (as opposed to fiber), terrible customer service, charging you for returned equipment long after you return it and close your account, frequent service dropouts (playing MMOs on comcast was challenging).

I'd prefer most ISPs over Comcast/Xfinity, though I'd prefer Comcast/Xfinity over Spectrum and Optimum lmao

Not that I like Verizon as a company either, but I think their Fios service sets the bar for residential broadband in the US. I think 90 a month for gig/gig with no data usage caps or throttling, their fiber handoff can be connected to either their router or bring your own, and I can count the amount of outages I've had over the past near decade on one hand, dynamic IPv4/no CGNAT. 300/300 is a little cheaper

I COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT OPTIMUM. I remember hearing them a lot in NY, but now I barely hear about them nowadays. Are they still even up? Same thing goes for Boost Mobile, AT&T, and others. I remember virizion, but I always never liked them for getting rid of my sister's data without even remdining her when we've made the switch.
