I keep on going back from Fedora Workstation to any Debian-based Distro, and just now, I noticed that Discord updated to a recent version, and when I tried getting it on my work laptop with standard Debian, I immediately encountered a problem where it tells me to download it, but I can't; I can only skip or quit the app.

There is the option to use Flatpaks, and I guess that's my only choice at this point; to deligate most of my applications to the Flathub and just continue using Debian as-is. Using Discord on the DNF package manager is cool and all, but my sole purpouse is to make this work PC reliable for when I go to college, and Idk which distro to even do at this point.

I will be going back to Standard Debian for now, but I cannot think of anything else for me to use. I just can't with all of the stuff Linux provides.

If you like how Windows feels, I would highly recommend KDE Plasma as a desktop environment. I myself am using it on top of Arch.
