Yeah... there's this kind of "seasonal" thing, when they make all kind of things using white asparagus here in Germany, and only when I came to Germany and I got to experience this stuff I got to like asparagus... before that I didn't care about asparagus really... So I guess for you to like some stuff better go try it in a place where they know how to cook it/use it correctly?
