faint early childhood memories of some non-flat design mixed with the designs of earlier years that ive seen online. I guess internet things ive seen has affected how i feel.. But i know the feeling isnt bad.

Well I'm guessing you are talking about how today's logos and designs are all minimalist, flat, ultra stylized, simple colors, zero shading, simple (or no) gradients, and so on. And how they used to be more detailed and more colorful and elaborate.

It's all cyclical, minimalism will become outdated and people will return to elaborate designs. And then back again.

tbf to Burger King, that logo is basically the same one they used from the 70s-90s
