Stamping some kind of "*phob" on an author isn't sufficient for me for dismissing their work without knowing it.
The books are way too long and could be shortened to 1/3 without losing anything important. The movies did exactly that.

She did capture the essence of fascism/nazism quite well in the last book (top notch movies) without focusing on symbolism.
