I'm somebody who can usually stomach bad framerates (see here) but man I just could not get into Age of Calamity. Ended up dumping my cart and emulating it a few years after buying the game, and what a game! Definitely deserves some kind of update for the new console. The game on the Switch reminds me of Hyrule Warriors Legends on a non-New 3DS.

i did not have any powerful hardware at the time (still don't. waiting on PC parts to ship) so I Suffered through it

i also really love the idea of hyrule warriors. wished more franchises got the same treatment. hate that the definitive edition has a few nasty bugs and memory leaks that never got addressed. its been 8 years koei tecmo pls

On the bright side for Definitive Edition, didn't it run at 1080p in handheld mode on the OG Switch for some reason? Doesn't even need Koei to come in and patch it ;O;

I would wholeheartedly recommend Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes if you want an S tier Warriors game btw. I've played a lot of them, but none manage to blend the mechanics of the game they're collabing with and the base Warriors experience as well as that one.
