I believe it's that the System Menu is Corrupted, but it doesn't show it as Corrupted, but just a black screen. Booting into what I believe is ModMii (where ever you back up the NAND is) also works but I don't have a backup of this Wii's NAND that can revive the System Menu and whatnot.

you have a soft brick, if you have a NAND backup restoring it is the way to go.

If you don't have a full NAND backup but you have your keys you can create a blank one using Ohneschwanzenegger http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Ohneschwanzenegger also you can start with a current backup and virginize it installing a new home menu.

Soft Brick.... But its a weird case.

I forgotten to update what happened, but I've somehow gotten the menu to work by opening Priiloader, then Nintendont, restarting my system, and now the Home menu now works, although I don't know how long this lasts. Should I just make a NAND backup as soon as possible?

Because this wasn't the last time this has happened, and I don't understand how I've potentially bricked my system like this.

happen to me once when installed a bad theme, restoring the NAND backup worked like a charm.

A NAND backup is good idea.

Do official games work from USB loader or loaded from disc with Neogamma?
Does the remote connect?

Homebrew software working and official software failing might indicate disconnected or not working Bluetooth and/or WiFi.

Before trying Ohneschwanzenegger (curse that name!) create a NAND backup of the current status. NAND restore without BootMii in boot2 is dangerous.

Update on this situation: There is a chance that it will boot into the home menu, and there's a bit of a higher chance that it won't. After performing a NAND backup using BootMii (and successfully doing it), I've booted into the home menu, and yep, black screen and the Wiimote doesn't connect to my Wii, despite syncing it prior to when the Wii had worked.

When booting into homebrew (for this case, USBLoaderGX) I have inserted Super Monkey Ball 2 into the system, booted into it, and it booted it in via Nintendont, which works. Something that I've mentioned previously i believe is that when I've tried doing this on the Wii menu prior to the brick... ➜

I've had problems with Gamecube games working on this system. This was due to jt previously using Dios Mios and when I've done the attempt to uninstall it, it worked for a bit but now it doesn't? I don't know. Honestly, I wished I could turn this Wii in to a modding expert for them to look at it xD
