What is the golden standard for DS Emulation outside of running TwilightMenu on a DS/DSi/3DS?

DesMuMe (des-me-umm) used to be the golden standard for DS emulation. However, the dev took himself out of obscurity because he couldn't be bothered to make any more updates. And on top of that, he hates the Pokemon franchise and would not release any bug fixes for those titles.

@DragonMals I love melonDS the best, it's got everything you need in there. What's good about it is that you can render polygons at a higher-resolution over its standard resolution.
