Thanks! The Amiga is a platform I have a lot of time for, I even used an A500 (and an A1200) with a MIDI adapter connected to some old samplers/keyboards to make rave music. Plus... lemmings!
Speaking about samplers, I have a Technosound Turbo sampler that is capable of recording in stereo. The software comes on a floppy disk, and I use it simply to record samples, not to create music modules; for that, I use ProTracker or OctaMED. My fave Amiga is an A500+. It has 2MB of chip RAM (I believe it was initially 512kb), and I purchased it refurbished.
Nice!! I never actually got an Amiga sampler module, the Technosounds used to be super cheap many moons ago, you could even make one yourself with (early 1990's) off the shelf parts and a soldering iron. I used to get all of my Amiga sounds from various modules, and use OctaMED for the MIDI sequencing.
