I almost want to test it out for the first time, but I don't even know how to do things and such to bring this mail to another person or something like that.
It's a good faith area for members to come together and trade/buy/sell stuff to other members. Usually once you find someone interested in what you're selling or vice versa, contact them via PM to finalize payment details (usually paypal since you can do goods and services, but also venmo, cash app, etc)
You would have to share your name and mailing address with the other member, so you'd want to make sure it's someone you're comfortable giving that information to. If you're in the US and shipping internationally, you'd have to fill out a CN22 form from USPS for customs (can do it online, it's fairly easy).
We (gbatemp) don't take responsibility if one member scams another there, but we do act on reports of such incidents including banning the offending member from the trading area, or the site entirely, at our discretion. Generally speaking, the vast majority of people you'll find in there are acting in good faith to buy/sell/trade without any problems or conflict
@DragonMals the cost may not be worth it in the end but you could consider getting a PO Box or see if it can be delivered to a UPS store for pickup or something along those lines, too.
Wonderful. I might try that out someday, as there are some items that I want to probably trade/sell for. Despite finishing high school I have neevr knew what a PO Box is actually
PO Box is a "post office box", a private mail slot for you that you rent at a physical post office facility to get mail and packages delivered to! But it does cost money and can be on the more expensive side, so probably not worth it if you're selling or buying a single $20 game. If you're going to use it a lot though, then maybe it could pay off!
I don't think it would be worth it considering that as much as I think I have a bunch of stuff that I could sell, I don't think it would be worth it at the end lol
