Yeah, but I would love to know the differences between each version lol. Despite all my knowledge about Laptops, still can't know the difference between them.

Afaik x32 pcs only have access to a maximum of 4 GB of ram

4 GB of RAM is extremely limited. But I do wonder if it's possible to expand by that amount with some reverse engineering I think.

My floppy machine is a Pentium 4 and doesn't have the x64 extensions; it has 2GB of RAM.

It can take 4GB but the CPU's memory controller is wonky so it gets 2.

@DragonMals Until a few years ago I've been using PCs with 16 bit 8088 and 80286 CPUs. Sadly the HDDs died at some point (Seagate ST-225 for example if you need a search term). I still hope to repair these systems one day. PSU are kaput, capacitors failed... I'm really sad this pieces of history failed because of the ravages of time.

@Xdqwerty 32 bit CPUs aren't necessarily limited to a 32 bit address bus. PAE existed before and to my knowledge Windows 2000 Server (Datacenter) supported more than 4GB RAM. Not that anybody way able to pay such hardware back then.
