Did you get it from Amazon or from some other site? Cuz if you got it from Amazon, you can get a free trial and you wouldn't have to pay taxes/shipping.

In my state it's taxes everywhere

In the USA taxes are applied at time of sale unlike UK where they are added before

The result of this is that everything cost stupid random sums of money and using physical cash is really annoying

Take a common price of $5.99, after tax at 7% they will expect from you $6.41

If you don't have exact change have fun lugging around 59c (2 quarters, a nickel and 4 pennies)

And that adds up all day until you say screw it and use a bank card for everything

Being in Europe, not having to tip and no tax - it was so weird when the bill would be like "okay, 30 euro"

Demanding tips from customers should be illegal all across nations people's eyes change on the subject constantly. It shouldn't be my fault your employer is under paying you, I don't expect you to kiss my ass, I expect to get the food I paid for, walk out, and you still be employeed at the end of the day without expecting me to cover your bills.

That's how it works here tho, easier to just not eat out

Yeah that's why I just make my own food, cheaper too

Depends on my mood, I'll get fast food if I see a good deal in the apps but my days of buying $20 pizzas and downing them are well over.

yea, but I don't even look at the ads. If I want it [fast food], I'll go get it. Even though it's hard to even get up n out. They get you one way or the other.
