I was quite intrigued by the recent Switch flashcard news. This might benefit new users who are worried of bricking their Switch from CFW and the like.
Probably not recommended if your fear is about being banned though, at least not until the tech stack of how it works is fully understood by the public
@impeeza Fair enough. I might still give it a try, but I won't get my hopes up due to this info. If it ends up not working then I'll at least know the 2GB limit is a physical limit.
I'm going shopping later anyway, so I may see if there's any 2GB mSD (just mSD, not mSDHC) cards at the local tech store. If not I'll just get one delivered.
Update: unfortunately the tech store didn't have any 1GB or 2GB mSD cards which is a bit of a bummer. I will try the partition later if I am able to. If that doesn't work, then like I said I'll just order a 2GB mSD off Amazon. That or just get a new R4 card altogether with a mSD included.
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
