Google Stadia failed. And that Kingdom Hearts trilogy on the Switch has also did I forgot which one it was, but I remember one that ran off of servers that ultimately failed. I personally believe that what we have is better than anything even the Switch. While the switch isn't perfect, it's still better than what cloud gaming has to offer.

Cloud gaming can work and can be a good thing in tandem with current services though. GeForce Now is probably the best implementation, giving you a relatively affordable secondary subscription to play the games you “own” via their PCs.
