My interpretation (attempt) was based on limited knowledge of science. Nuclear binding energy increases for bigger atoms until reaching nickel and iron. You can't set free energy by fission for such small nuclei such as helium (instead harvest energy by fusion, but the picture contains nothing reminding on fusion)

As far I interpreted:

The Helium was presented as a "Noble" gas, so put it the joke on the french revolution time, all nobles was sentenced to the guillotine, and if you "split" the helium atom you get the reaction of the H-bomb so you have the explosion.

This is not my primary field of knowledge.

Problem here is nuclear binding energy: Our primary energy source (sun) works the other way round, fusing hydrogen to helium. Same for the H-bomb (or fusion bomb). Fusion reaction needs HIGH temperature which is indeed provided by nuclear fission of huge nuclei (uranium, plutonium) in a bomb.

To be honest I don't understand the joke(?) for what feels like 90% of the pictures in those two threads. From the remaining 10% almost all make me think "facepalm"
I'm just following the two topics since every 10000 useless turds, a shiny diamond appears.

As for the example: There was no joke in the first place. Whoever made the picture should do their homework in physics.
