C is the best language you can start off with, languages like Python and Lua are much more simplistic.

I thrived in things like Scratch and BASIC dialects, I just tend to break shit more often when I program in C. plus i'm not very good at coding and I learn via doing rather than reading books/guides so things get broken constantly
