It's an easy 5 wire install, and it bypasses the GameCube's IPL (BIOS, basically) and boots directly into Swiss without the need for a boot disc. My laser assembly is basically just a disc dumper now.

Why did you install this with a XenoGC? Doesn't swiss already allow for region free booting of discs? Unless you're saying you installed the XenoGC before picoboot came out
