I couldn't agree more. I can't believe Word doesn't have a shortcut for something as basic as pasting without formatting. Chrome has it mapped to Ctrl + Shift + V; why can't this be standard?

Paste as plain text lacking does seem like a missed trick, though it appears to be an option if you want some fiddling

Ah! So there is a built in hotkey settings collection, I thought that wasn't there, so not much of an issue for me now thanks. Just that I guess it's still a missed feature to have it built in or already set up to a binding.
