It said in the thread that they'll be livestreaming random.org random number generation, so it has to be as fair and random as possible.

Edit: random.org should be "100%" random

AFAIK. The method is that there's a spreadsheet. Everyone who posts in the thread (except me, Shaun, and Costello) until it's locked (other staff are fair game tho) will be automatically added. If someone posts more than once, they don't get added more than the one time.

Then they're all in a nice grid, shuffled and assigned a number. Random.Org does the rest.
