And I mean yea- no batteries would be much less money. In fact ever since I switched to rechargeable batteries, its probably saved enough money alone to be able to buy multiple consoles.
It's not the money. It's the fact it takes you out of the zone. Like Switch for example. Batteries are low, so you have to charge them. Meaning you have to stop playing until your controller is charged. It's the same with Xbox and PlayStation. Yes, you could use the charging lead for those two but... I'd need a long lead for that.
