Dear SG854, my previous motherboard was handled by a prebuild company. They slathered it in hot glue, whilst also failing to correctly secure the motherboard to the case. In my appraisal of the situation, I found that once I had transported the board to a new case, it had been enough to incapacitate it for good.

Deciding that it was an unsatisfactory mobo anyway, I thus decided to pick up a much more pleasing one from the nearest Amazon shopping centre.
