I hate to be the bad guy and in the end whatever you believe is your choice. If God isn’t real it really doesn’t matter anyways. I don’t intend to be judgemental either. However, “being good enough to get to heaven” has always been a lie because even the worst people who haven’t been “good enough” are forgiven by Jesus.
There’s a lot of drug addicts and prostitutes and “bad” people who have done horrible things that are going to heaven , and there are a lot of religious snoots that followed every single regulation, abstained from GTA V and never listened to rock music , that won’t be there. Why? Because it’s not about what you do on the outside, it’s who you are on the inside.
You might suck as a person all your life and then have a change of heart in prison, and you’ll still get what you deserve on earth but you’ll be forgiven by Jesus if you choose to accept his forgiveness and believe in him and let him change your life.
There’s good people that aren’t Christian that are honestly way more Christian than actual Christians, and it’s not up to me to say if they’ll go straight to hell or not and God is merciful. A lot of amazing people would never consider being a Christian
Cause we Christians have shot ourselves in the foot and used God as an excuse to not use our brains and be absolutely stupid about health concerns, scientific discoveries and societal change, we’ve used it as an excuse to enslave people to do what we want them to do, we’ve used God as a hammer and a reason to hate people. Yet, when you read the Bible in context all of that is considered sinful and exceedingly evil
No matter how much we dislike what you are doing we are never ever allowed to hate you. Or bully someone to the point of suicide because they were born homosexual or are struggling with gender dysphoria
We’re here to serve others and build them up, not to condemn them, and Christianity as it is practiced here in America and tainted with our culture, is absolutely abhorrent and goes against the Bible
But that sounds like bullshit because half of us Christians don’t actually use being a Christian for anything other than a title and to pretend they are better than anyone else, when they are worse off than the sinners they hate so much
So it’s understandable that someone would have an aversion to Christianity. But you can’t bank on being good enough because we can’t be good enough! It’s a double edged sword. We couldn’t be good enough for God no matter how hard we tried. So instead He sent Jesus who came down and acted as a sacrifice to end all sacrifices because that stuff never worked. It never brought about a change of heart
But by Christian belief if you believe God did raise Jesus from the dead, and you love Him, and you communicate with him through prayer, you will be saved. You might be a total mess but it doesn’t matter. You’ll get there eventually, the most important thing is a change of heart
But... if you’ve heard about God and you just don’t care, why would He want to invite you to spend the rest of a life outside of the bounds of time with you? He cares about you but if you just blow him off there’s literally no reason for him to invite you because he wants your love
And he’s not going to abuse you or manipulate you to get it (Humans will try to manipulate people into loving God but He hates that cause it’s not genuine, it’s out of fear).
But He can’t do anything for you after that.
If you’ve never even had a chance to know God though, I believe He’ll still give you a chance when you die. He gives everyone a chance even if they reject Him at first.
I know this is controversial and I don’t mean to discriminate against anyone and if Christians have harmed you I am so sorry and you have every right to believe what you do and dislike them. I don’t mean to lecture anyone either, I just wanted to state what was on my mind, and I am not trying to convert anyone.
But honestly next month will likely be 10 bucks a month.... Dude called his boss and pretty much got a job out of the deal making like 30 bucks an hour.
