I generally find ribs a lot of effort for some not very tasty meat. Can only imagine what horrors mcdonalds inflict.
I wouldn't call "stick it in an oven at low heat for 5-7 hours" a lot of effort, @FAST6191. McDonalds does to the rib what they do to every other meat: grind it into paste, mold it into shape, cook. Flavor is frowned upon.
