But what about Splatoon? Super Mario 3D World? Nintendo Land! And Mario Maker! Those were all great titles on the Wii U. Plus, the Gamepad does double duty as a TV Remote. (triple if you count it working with Fire TVs)

I own a wiiu, and I liked the console a lot. However, I felt as though Nintendo didn't provide the big name titles we all expected from them. The console let me down in a lot of ways. I did like all the games you mentioned - but it didn't make up for the lack of the titles I mentioned imho.
