I have fond memories of experiencing fan translations of Mario RPG and Seiken Densetsu 3 back then. We Europeans missed out on such great games.

I remember someone selling a "Mario World 3" in a local newspaper years ago as a child. I always wondered what that game could have been. If it wasn't a typo it must've referred to Mario RPG.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that this game exists. Emulation rules.

My first time playing Chrono Trigger was the rerelease on the Nintendo DS. What a game.

The scene with Azala after Tyranno Lair really got me. Quite an emotional impact for a 16 bit game. Stunning!

I must be one of the few gamers who never owned a PS1 or a PS2. I got a Gamecube near the end of it's life and that's it...

I love oldschool Resident Evil but it's another series I first experienced on the DS through an excellent remake.

Okay, I played Mystic Quest. But that was without knowing that it was even connected to Final Fantasy.

I recently replayed it and boy has it aged poorly. Nostalgia makes some games seem nicer than they really were. Or I just didn't have anything else/better to compare it to back then...
