I don't think they proved anything about Astros cheating specifically in the WS. Especially when they won the final away games in LA itself. They also made it back to the WS after the cheating stopped in the 2018 season, for 2019. Interestingly there seems to be very very little rage upon the Red Sox as well, who were caught cheating too, yet didn't incur the same wrath.

The cheating sucks, yes, but that doesn't take anything away from the greatness of the players, or a win for a city that needed it the most. But their WS isn't getting called into question nor has it become as much a media circus as the Astros. Heck, Red Sox used pine tar dripping off their faces in 2018 WS and no one cared...even if it was against the rules
