What problems are there? And consider changing fans if you are having heat problems. Couple months back I went from stock AMD (currently using 6350 to save Wattage, but have a 9590 as a backup if I need something stronger) to the cheapest Corsair liquid cooler, really saved me a lot of heating troubles.

World is VERY CPU-heavy since it uses the CPU to keep track of EVERYTHING on the map (large monsters, small monsters, day/night, monster behaviours, etc.).

As for playing together, sure thing, I'm always looking for hunting buddies, problem is I can't afford Iceborne currently, so that's an issue for me since we need to be on same version. I posted a trading thread for it in hopes someone will trade some keys I have for an Iceborne one but no luck...

Okay so idle the CPU is like 28C. When I ran MHW prior to Iceborne, I rarely went above 40C. I think my peak temp was 44C. After Iceborne was installed, regular stuff like walking around in town now has average temp of 60C and I hit like 70+ on maps.

Are you sure it's related to Iceborne? With stock loud-ass old AMD cooler I hit 66°C at full load if it was for more than 20 minutes (55°C in World), now I hit perhaps 42°C after 3 hours with the liquid cooling in base World which is around what you seem to have. But for temps to jump by THAT much for you, it's either bad fan/paste/contact OR you have settings turned on that put WAY too much stress on the CPU...

No this is all Capcom/Iceborne. Check online on other places to hear about people's issues after installing the expansion. Capcom is apparently aware of the issues and working on a fix.

I also forgot to mention that pre-Iceborne, my FPS was 100+. After downloading the expansion, it dropped to 40 FPS. Luckily they added two settings and changing them brought it back up. I had to enable the DX12 API and also enable FidelityFX something something and set the value to 1.0. After that my FPS jumped from 40-100. Sadly temps were still ridiculous in-game.
