Vocaloid songs may be "fan-made" for the most part, but specific creators are actually backed by the company behind Vocaloid and those are all the famous/well-known/officially licenced songs. What I basically mean is that the unlicenced ones are almost always just crap made by people who think just making edgy or weird lyrics/voice tones equals a good song...

To be fair the quality is generally much better than the regular edgy bs people make, since it takes some effort to tune a song well. but you're right to a degree yeah

Not saying ALL non-licenced songs are bad, just the vast majority of them, reason I don't bother with them or care. If an unlicenced song is actually good, it will eventually get an offer to be officially licenced so when it does, that's when I'll listen to those
And that singing text-to-speech engine has a little weird pronunciation when it comes to German words.
