    I have an OG on 12.70 with activated accounts and game saves I didn't want to lose. If I make a backup and follow the guide to JB the system, would I be able to import the saves later? Also, if I restore my retail backup later, will the original accounts be still activated.

    What FW are you on? Back in Feb when I was still on 3.20 the DB got corrupted twice forcing me in to the recovery menu with the only option to reset or update the FW. If that's your case, you can do reset instead FW update, but you'll lose everything.
