The European models will soon have more easily removed batteries, so that’ll be a manufacturing time marker. Suspect you already thought of that though. -

Those will probably be marketed as "V2" models. Replaceable batteries sounds great, but not enough of a reason for me to upgrade.

That's.... kinda really poor logic. We didn't notice a hole here, so therefore there isn't any holes, therefore, hole-less. There's just no known exploits, doesn't mean no exploits.
