One more thing. After I just sent that post to help you out, I had another error that prevented me to update the psvita. The error was that the vita needs to connect to some sort of website in order to trick it to think that the device is getting the update from a Sony web server. That means...- XFREEXWORLDX

I made a quick account just to reply to you. I had the same problem and the solution is this. Place the .xml file where the actual QCMA file directory is located. It does not belong in the PS VITA Updates folder that everyone has been saying it belongs in. Example: C:\Program Files...- XFREEXWORLDX
