    My bad, misunderstood. They implemented filters on that kind of thing a long time ago in BW. You cant even use things with unreleased DW abilities, or pokemon with egg moves that werent hatched. Its likely that these were in place day 1 in XY, and will also be applied to Pokebank.

    How are EVs boring? Thy let you specialize your pokemon so that you can make them bulky, fast, defensive, offensive, etc. It adds another layer of strategy to the game.
