Hacking Which cIOS do I need?

You reinforced his point. That only tells which slots were used to build the cios in, and which official IOS was used as a base to build the cios. In no way does it tell which cios to use.

Hacking No games working after D2x

How about that? Installing a base 57 cios to slot 223, didn't "screw up all his IOS's". Not that installing a cios to an empty slot, that doesn't involve any other IOS/CIOS, could have anyway.

Hacking No games working after D2x

According to your syscheck, your 222 slot is using Hermes with base 38. Ops requires an ios 57 based cios. If you can't get d2x to work, you can always use the Hermes installer to install a base 57 cios to slot 223 or 224 and use that for Ops. I've just tested Ops here with d2x base 57, and it...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Try Hermes V5.1 224base60. That has SDHC support. I've heard that the kybd support is buggy in RB3, so I'd be interested to see whether it's a game bug you're experiencing, or whether it goes away with Hermes and is therefore another Wanin bug.

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Base 58 cios doesn't use the cios USB 2.0 code, it uses the Nintendo USB code in base 58. It's the only base that doesn't end up using the cios USB2 code, so I would bet that your HDD is working now because of the base, not because of d2x. If you had used Wanin rev21 with base 58, you would...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I've been hoping for this same thing for some time. It drives me up the wall, when I accidentally bring the wiimote within view of the sensor bar, and the games list quickly starts scrolling through the games. I'd like to disable wiimote pointer navigation completely. None of the responses to...

Hacking cIOSX rev21d2x: Yet Another Hot Fix!!!!

Yes, I agree that V2 did more than just fix 2nd USB port issues. Whatever bug there was causing the USB 2nd port problems, must have been causing the cios to "hiccup" in general. I could not get perfect scores on guitar (wiimote based, not USB) under V1, but no problem at all under V2. Great...

Hacking Idiots Guide to "music games" in UNEEK+DI

CIOS binds to only USB port 0, leaving USB 1 available for other use. If you use UNEEK (+DI), it takes over the entire USB controller for HDD use, leaving no option to use other USB devices. So mic will not work for any music games, wired LAN will not work, and only GH wiimote based...

Hacking cIOSX rev21: controller lag [FIXED!]

I was wondering earlier today, if the drive reset function for keep awake, was causing a reset of the entire USB root hub. I know the data routines of the CIOS are coded to only support port 0, but I wondered whether maybe he wasn't so careful for the reset routine. Sounds like you are...

Hacking cIOSX rev21: controller lag [FIXED!]

Could some people please try the microphone test I mentioned earlier, with RB3? You can just hum a long note, and keep it held till the drive blinks.

Hacking cIOSX rev21: controller lag [FIXED!]

Just remembered I didn't go back and try the BBogey ehci release. I had dismissed it back when I first tried it, due to it still showing a small problem with the Wario Shake it game having wiimote disconnect messages. Since it had the watchdog completely removed, and never caused my drive to...

Hacking cIOSX rev21: controller lag [FIXED!]

Thanks to everyone putting work in on fixing this problem. Rev21dx is still not fixed though. In a few hours of playing RB3 last night, using the latest ehci from the thread (which I believe was supposed to fix the timer to 3 args), I did not complete one song perfect. I normally should have...

Hacking cIOSX rev21: controller lag [FIXED!]

I put it in the rev21 modules folder, and built 249[56]rev21 & 250[57]rev21. At first it appeared to have fixed the problem, and my drive no longer blinked at all while idle. My drive doesn't go to sleep, so this seemed the perfect solution. However, if you sit on the Wario Shake It save select...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

It seems Wanin's watchdog is too slow for many drives, and causes I/O problems for most. I've tried two drives (WD Elements 640G & WD Elements SE 750G), that both go to sleep in the CFGUSB interface (offscreen covers won't load if drive's asleep), while under Wanin >19, but work fine under...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

    I downloaded t1,t2, & t3, to see if they had any effect on http://gbatemp.net/t147638-configurable-us...t&p=3396644 They didn't. :-(
