    but that website said it requires a thing called MINI that in the github says that it replaces IOS and requires a thing called Gumboot that i do not know how to set up.

    1st one. Also my wii model my be the issue but i can't afford another wii because i'm saving that money for a 3ds (also, what is powerpc-gekko-objcopy?) i'm using an installer because that is what michael mjd did in his video

    My wii is a 2008 gamecube compatible wii (other than the disc drive and the boot1 and boot2 it's practically the same than the 2006-2007 wiis) also, my 2 PC's were bricked (a dell and an acer laptop), so i need somewhat of a desktop os so i can at least make things easier later on

    The linux installer doesn't wanna run on my wii, it says "not a valid wii application"

    I tried running the installer with the homebrew channel but it said "not a valid homebrew app" and i couldn't load it from anywhere else. Can someone help me? I want to install linux on my wii (my wii is a 2008 black gamecube compatible wii with priiloader and bootmii as IOS)
