    Thanks for the reply. the private folder means any other folders besides the apps folder? Cuz I didn't have a private folder in my SD card. Just all the stuff I needed for the Wii, ie. the wads, apps, etc.

    Either the part to upgrade to 4.1 wasn't there when I followed the guide for soft mod or I overlooked it due to being overly excited about finally able to mod the wii, I can't really recall. No reason for not doing it since I'm pretty much just trying to follow guides from the forum.
