    if your psp is old enough you can hack it with a pandora no problem. If you have a psp with mobo v3 then you are actually out of luck as far as I know right now. The firmware is too current to be hacked for the time being. Like burritoboy said though, check psp-hacks.com

    The 80GB that have BC feature only have software emulation. That will not work with this.

    Sorry buddy, you are out of luck. 80gb is not backward compatible with ps2 games. You are not able to play ps2 games or ps2 backups for that matter...

    I am bumping this topic because I am having the same problem. Someone earlier mentioned that the WD My Passport Essentials hdd's are known to NOT have problems with going to sleep? I have a 320 gig my passport essentials and it does go to sleep... everytime I play an emulator I have to unplug...

    I'd like to say that I have fixed my problem... I'm not sure exactly what the issue was but I updated my hbc. I guess I was using an old version, I haven't been big on the soft modding scene, and it also added dvdx? I don't know what all it did but I updated hbc and now it seems to be working...
