    Wow, I'm relieved that I'm not the only one on earth with this extremely specific defect on a New 3DS XL. I doubt this is a simple case of "brightness variation" as if it could just be chalked up to being caused by manufacturing tolerance. It seriously looks like damage/degradation of some kind...
