    alright cool. thanks 1681557696 Do you know how much of the switch needs to be assebled for it to turn on? I suspect it wont turn on without the heatsink screwed in but do i need to for example screw in the back metal plate on?

    Hi guys. I Succesfully (i think) installed the flex cable but in the proces i mangled the crap out of the cpu shield thing. Do you think it will be fine if i just screw on the heatsink on?

    Are you trying to figgure out if better cooling gives better performance or something else?

    If you want to replace thermal pads with goop than the only option I know of is K5 pro viscous thermal paste. Should perform better then any thermal pad also but the cleanup if you decided you don't want it wouldn't be nice I'd guess

    cool, didn't know that. Thanks 1680717992 i'd say go for thermal grizzly aeronaut. Its probably the best or at least on of the best thermal pastes for air cooling 1680718036 that's what i buy every time i build a pc and it never let me down, doesn't dry up after a long time also so that's a plus

    after flashing with 2.6 with 2.5+unlock already flashed before rp2040 zero didn't flash the led in any way. Is that normal?

    Try desoldering everything, get the switch back to normal, if it boots u probably messed up soldering somewhere, if it doesn't, well u still messed up the soldering but worse i guess . I don't think the switch would overheat so much that it dies. 1680648373 Alright, thanks for the help

    Ok thanks. I have the rp 2040 zero, after flashing the light goes green. Also after plugging it into my pc after flashing ( without booting it) the light goes blue and then white/cyan. Is that good?
